Cnn Money a couple weeks back did a great writeup titled
Cubicles: The great mistake. I could not agree more. In my firm's new office building, they thought it would be a good idea to make the cubes extremely low so that it is impossible to duck a little and have a private phone conversation. I guess some people don't care about that, as their voices now carry half way across the floor. Looking forward to a promotion so I can get an office with a door to close.
I wanted to share a thread from the guys over at
mygigabeat.com. It seems not only is there no official release date for the new Toshiba Gigabeat player, but Toshiba doesn't seem to be creating any marketing hype either. What is wrong with them? On paper, this has the potential to be a serious competitor to the video IPod. Now I am wondering if they are having massive problems with it, and all the hype from CES was just that-hype.
