Obituary of a fine Irishman
For anyone who is a friend of mine, or has spent any time at all on West 4th Street in NYC, you will know of a bar called the Four Faced Liar. I first went in there right after it opened in 2003 and met the two proprietors, Denver and Connor. The place had a great atmosphere and immediately became my favorite bar in all of Manhattan. Over the years I spent a few St. Paddy's there and was introduced to Jager Bombs and Power's Irish Whisky by Denver there as well. I dropped in for a few pints Saturday night to find out that
Denver had passed away 2 weeks prior. Denver was an awesome guy, and I sware he was happy every day I ever ran into him. The Liar and the world definitely will not be the same without him. So wherever you are, raise a glass to a good Irishman gone...we'll miss you Denver.
