Developer. I have a background in CS and spent 7 years developing enterprise web applications and frameworks before starting Notches.

Have you preordered XBOX360? Oct 09, 2005

Well, I finally got around to pre-ordering the XBOX 360. (No, I didn't get the $4,000 bundle. In fact, I couldn't find any bundles in stock that had Madden, and since that's the only game I'm really interested in, well, I bought a standalone version).

Joystiq posted links to a series of gameplay screenshots that are fairly impressive. The new Madden screens look great, although as mentioned the players look oddly stubby. I wonder if I can import my current Madden franchise into the new version. There are also some shots from a few basketball games, NBA 2K6 and NBA Live 2006. Check out the EA screens shown off at X05.

Well, I'm impressed....
