No worries, I programmed the memory card to self destruct!

I just watched this week's episode of 24 on DVR. I'm usually willing to suspend disbelief, but this was too much. Jack just said, "I programmed the memory card to self-destruct".

Are... you... kidding.. me?

Where do I get one of these? It would probably work well with my exploding Xbox. Or better yet - can I program the computers at work to self-destruct too?
