Anna Nicole Smith

I've become deeply interested with the Anna Nicole Smith story. I Tivio Larry King Live every night to catch all the coverage. He has the best coverage out there.

On the Funeral

  • Who was the international singer that was to sing at her funeral? Did he/she not show up?
  • Why does her mother not want her buried in the Bahamas next to her son? I guess for the same reason Anna wants to be next to Daniel.
  • Can a mother child bond ever be broken even if they don’t speak for 10 years?

I feel sympathy for Anna Nicole. I see her as a single mother who was trying to make a way in the world for her and her son. Who can fault her for the choices she made?

Her Choices

  • Not going to college
  • Getting married
  • Becoming a mother
  • Working as a stripper
  • Becoming a Playboy Playmate
  • Becoming a Guess Model
  • Doing a reality show on her daily life
  • Becoming a spoke’s person for TrimSpa
  • Having a baby for Larry Birkhead

Fame

Sometime when you get on a track it is hard to change your course. I think fame can become consuming in that you what to be noticed. Being noticed is a basic human need. The problem is you just can’t control other people and you can't control how they will react to you. She could not control her ride. Her story was that of the the old adage be careful what you wish for. She wanted to be famous. It was better to her than being poor and unknown.

In America nobody respects you if you are poor.

But being famous does mean that you have to expose yourself to others and their opinions of you. When you put yourself out there you risk being criticized. Unfortunately you have to accept the good with the bad. So you need to have a very tough skin or do things that alters your reality for moments at a time to make it through.

I guess she couldn’t deal with the harsh media and or bad press… but who likes to be verbally abused? She just wanted to be loved. She just wanted to hear we like you Anna, we really, really like you.
